Tune in this weekend to the world premier of 'T&Cs' - radio jingles by Bedwyr Williams, one of the UK’s most idiosyncratic and sought after artists.

Bedwyr Williams has just been shortlisted for Artes Mundi, the UK’s largest art prize, as well as the respected Derek Jarman Award

Wiliams has written two radio jingles that nestle uncomfortably somewhere between tourist information, car showroom advert and madcap electioneering.

'T&Cs' is one of three public art works commissioned for the inaugural Plymouth Art Weekender, taking place on 25/26/27th September 2015.

Produced with support from Radio Plymouth, the jingles were deemed too left field for broadcast on commercial radio, but still recorded using their in-house production team in a bid to sound authentic.

The artist's offbeat jingles will now be broadcast here on Soundart Radio 102.5FM, interrupting the schedule thoughout the weekend.

"As an artist-led station of culture-activists we regularly link up with other pioneering radio art projects around the world," says Lucinda Guy, Artistic Director of Soundart Radio. "So Bedwyr William's jingles are right up our street. We're delighted to broadcast them for Plymouth Art Weekender. "
