A Fête Worse than Death
A Fete Worse Than Death returns for 2010, on Saturday 30th October throughout the afternoon and evening.
This will be a fundraising party, all welcome, with the feel of a village fete that isn't quite right... expect an unlucky dip, wierd music and rather morbid decorations.
We are currently looking for volunteers:
Performers: there are half hour slots for performers, music or otherwise. Stuff that is folky/spooky more than outright horror. Family friendly and with minimal technical set up. We are open to ideas.
Food: could you make food or help to sell it? Please let us know if you can provide cakes or savoury snacks or do a shift helping on the food stall.
Games and craft activities: we need people to help with games and crafts throughout the afternoon, and to get materials ready in advance.
Decorations: we fancy some turnip lanterns this year, perhaps on poles. Also have been thinking about making bunting with alchemical symbols on. Perhaps we could get a team together and spend a day making decorations?
