Learn about electronic music and how to play your instrument in a completely new way, for women and non-binary people who love to experiment with sound.

RE#SISTER is a community of women and non-binary artists, musicians and experimentalists who regularly come together in and around the electronic music studio of WORM, Rotterdam, to make music together, support and learn from each other. Several new musical projects evolved from this initiative, which started in 2018. RE#SISTER is about exchange, empowerment and interaction, about making and thinking experimental music. It is about learning based on equality and talent development; it acknowledges the creative potential in every person, especially those underrepresented in live electronic music. There are no requirements in terms of experience or equipment and there is no formal membership or age restriction. In a weekly radio show for Radio WORM, RE#SISTER Radio brings an extra highlight on female and non-binary musicians, and fresh recordings of spontaneous sessions in the studio. WORM supports RE#SISTER via their facilities, opportunities to play live and to record music.
