May Day is important in Devon - ask the morris dancers who meet on the moor at dawn, or the may queens and processional types in the towns and villages nearby. The hawthorn blossom appears in the hedgerows, in the cities people are marching for freedom and justice, and back at the studio we too are politically angry.
We celebrate May Day by broadcasting Reveil, the sounds of dawn around the world, and holding a Soundcamp - a weekend long listening event open to all.
